Power Shutdown

hi all

can anyone help my prob is as follows

evry time i go uphill or acelerate hard

the car shuts down to half power if i turn the key of and back on while i am still traveling it the power returns until i push again

i have had it on the computer and the only fault shown was MASS AIR FLOW

i renewed it but it still has the same fault

if i drive and acelerate slowly the car will go up to 90 mph

can anyone help

Theres been a lot on this subject recently, see this discussion for starters. After all that the next things to look at are the Boost Control Valve (TCS) and the Tmap sensor

Have you tried chaning the airflow switch in the air intake because this will not show up on a diog computer until it has completely stopped working, but that doesnt mean that its working ok.

hi had same problem ended up the wastgate was sticking oiled and freed of no more trouble

Hmmm... I'll be under it with the WD40 tomorrow at this rate.... And yep, I am serious..
